1. Who you are contracting with
Tours marketed on cappadociatoursbylocals.com are operated by GEZGİNOL TURİZM VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("Gezginol", "we"), a travel agency registered with the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) under registry number 15746, with its registered office at İki Çeşmelik Mah. Kirazlı Yolu Cad. İnci Apt. No:13 İç Kapı No:18, Kuşadası / Aydın, Türkiye.
2. Bookings and confirmation
A booking request via our form or email is an enquiry, not a contract. A booking exists when we confirm your tour, date and price in writing (email suffices). Prices are confirmed in the quoted currency; where entrance fees, balloon flights or other third-party services are excluded, the quote says so explicitly.
3. Payment
No prepayment is required to enquire. Payment terms (typically payment on the day, or a deposit for multi-day packages and third-party services such as balloon flights) are stated in your written confirmation. Accepted methods are listed there too.
4. Cancellations and changes
Our cancellation terms are set out on the Cancellation Policy page and repeated in every confirmation. Weather cancellation of balloon flights is governed by the operating balloon company’s terms, which we pass through unchanged: authority-grounded flights are refunded or rebooked in full.
5. Third-party services
Hot air balloon flights are operated exclusively by licensed balloon companies under Turkish civil aviation regulation; we act as booking intermediary. Museum and site entry is governed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. We remain responsible for the services we operate directly: guiding, vehicles and itinerary management.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for holding valid travel documents and insurance, for informing us of health or mobility conditions relevant to the itinerary, and for following your guide’s safety instructions at sites, on trails and underground. We may adapt or decline parts of an itinerary where conditions make them unsafe.
7. Liability
We operate with the professional liability insurance required of TÜRSAB agencies. Our liability for services we operate is limited to the price paid for those services, except where Turkish law provides otherwise. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (weather, road closures, official acts, force majeure), though we will always work to reshape the day around them.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes fall to the competent courts and consumer arbitration bodies of Türkiye. The Turkish-law consumer protections applicable to package tours are not diminished by anything on this page.
